Pesto Tofu Bake

We love using our ingredients to make easy bake sheet meals and this pesto version is one of our favourites! Each block of our regular Soy-Free Tofu has 64g of protein in it and it adds nutrition to every meal. This recipe is crispy, herby, savory, versatile, and packed with protein!

Soy-free Tofu is an incredibly versatile ingredient that can be crumbled, baked, fried, and more, adding a delicious plant-based protein to any dish. Did we say it's also soy-free? 

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of Big Mountain Foods Soy-Free Tofu
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp sea salt
  • 3 tbsp vegan basil pesto

Recipe Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Into a medium size mixing bowl, crumble the tofu
  3. Add olive oil and toss to coat
  4. Add garlic powder, ground black pepper, sea salt and toss again to evenly distribute seasonings
  5. Mix in pesto and distribute evenly
  6. Onto a parchment lined baking sheet, arrange tofu in an even layer
  7. Bake in preheated oven 40 minutes, gently stirring halfway through cooking time
  8. Remove from oven and serve warm, room temperature, or chilled
