PREPARING YOUR TOFU (HEATING INSTRUCTIONS)
Remove the tofu from the packaging and drain any excess liquid. Cut the tofu into desired size and shape for your recipe.
To fry the tofu, heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add a small amount of oil. Add the tofu and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
To bake the tofu, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly oil a baking sheet and place the tofu on the sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping the tofu once halfway through cooking, until golden brown.
To grill the tofu, brush with oil and place on a hot grill for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until grill marks appear.
Please note: While our tofu is pre-cooked and ready to eat, we recommend heating it to 160°F (71°C) minimum before consuming. While it is possible to eat our tofu without cooking it in certain recipes, we do not recommend consuming it alone raw as the taste and texture may not be optimal. Cooking the tofu will enhance the flavor and texture and make it more enjoyable to eat. DO NOT FREEZE THIS PRODUCT.
How does the Soy-Free Tofu have zero carbs and fat?
The Soy-Free Tofu was created and developed from years of research and is made using traditional tofu making methods that leaves our product purely protein. Unlike tofu that is made from soybeans, the Soy-Free Tofu contains no carbohydrates or fat, making it a great option for those looking to reduce their intake of these macros. Fava beans are a great source of protein, with even more protein content than soybeans, not to mention that our beans are sourced 100% from a Canadian, women-owned, regenerative farm. Rest assured, we make sure our products are tested through a stringent process to make sure all information on our packaging is accurate.
Where are your Fava beans sourced?
They're sourced right here in Canada, from a women-owned highly regenerative farm. We source only glyphosate-free, low vicine beans with a focus on creating a regenerative and circular production process.
I’m allergic to soy and this tofu is genuinely so amazingly good. My family eats regular tofu too and they prefer this!

It is *so* good. I am thrilled to finally be able to have tofu again after developing a soy allergy years ago!
