Gluten Free

Big Mountain Foods is GLUTEN FREE!!!

Did you know the Canadian government has issued GLUTEN as a major allergen? This means all package labels must state if it contains gluten. Celiac Disease is a genetic disorder of the small intestine and is characterized by sensitivity to gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley, rye and possibly oats. When affected people eat gluten, their small intestine becomes damaged and they cannot absorb nutrients properly. Some common symptoms of celiac disease include diarrhea, increased appetite, bloating, weight loss, irritability and fatigue.

We recently noticed “The Original Mountain Veggie Burger” at our local store; we have been looking for a Vegan, Soy free, Gluten Free veggie burger for some time so we were elated that our store ordered these as the solution

Thank you So much for taking the time to hear my concern,

Theresa & Daniel

I just wanted to say thank you so much for taking the flour out of your recipe, I love your burgers and was sad when I was unable to eat wheat any longer. Also, I’m extremely pleased with the new cheesy burger, thanks again for providing amazing product!
